Hello

First and foremost, I prioritize my role as a father and husband. My family holds the utmost importance in my life and serves as the driving force behind all my endeavors. As I enter my mid-50s, I reflect on the fortunate experiences I have had - traversing the globe, collaborating with exceptional individuals, and embarking on ventures that many can only fantasize about. Admittedly, the journey has posed challenges, yet it is precisely these obstacles that add a captivating dimension to life.

My Story

As an experienced entrepreneur, I have successfully started and managed multiple companies throughout my career. Two of these companies were acquired by larger businesses. I personally managed my production company for 14 years. Additionally, my fourth venture, Skubes, was acknowledged by Dig South as one of the top education startups in the industry.

My most recent endeavor is The Local Gym, located in Dallas, Georgia, along with the Cedarcrest Grill. Both establishments cater to the local community, providing top-notch fitness facilities and dining options. Furthermore, I am excited to announce that my upcoming book, focusing on the state of the American education system, is set to be released in late March 2024.

Throughout my career, I have also amassed two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. During this time, I have overseen various projects ranging from commercials and television pilots to live broadcasts. My extensive experience has been recognized by reputable publications such as Markee Magazine, which featured my production company in January 2008 as a leading force in Southeastern Production. Additionally, we graced the cover of the December 2008 issue, solidifying our reputation as a prominent player in the industry.

My journey in the entertainment and production business began in the late 1980s as a director of photography & production manager, involved in numerous 3D films and animation projects. From there, I expanded my expertise by working as a photographer and videographer for Estee Lauder, traveling across the country. In 1996, I founded my own production company, which eventually led me to Olympic Park, where I contributed to the live performances for the AT&T pavilion during the renowned 1996 Olympic Games. Over the years, I have managed employees and contractors, working closely with esteemed individuals and renowned talents, including prominent musicians such as Santana, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Joan Osborne.

My portfolio extends beyond the realm of music, as I have collaborated with notable figures such as Davis Love III, Elijah Wood, Steve Young, Congressman Tom Price, Ruby Dee, May Wood, Terry Kay, The Beach Boys, and Don Rickles, among many others. Throughout my career, I have successfully completed a multitude of projects and national ad campaigns, consistently operating with budgets exceeding $1 million.

Recognized for my outstanding contributions in the field, I am proud to have received a total of 14 national and international awards from industry peers in the film, video, and advertising sectors. As an experienced entrepreneur, I have successfully started and managed multiple companies throughout my career.
